When we say you have to be quick, we (usually) mean it.

On 5th Feb 2026, we released Dark Choc Matcha into the world, and you literally ate it up. No more than 6 days later and there’s a Matcha shaped hole on the shelves of our warehouse.

6 days go by and we’re completely sold out.

Dark Choc Matcha is but a memory (except for the stragglers we had left in the studio, but they’d all been compromised by our videographer). Since then, the emails have been flooding in, asking for us to make this a permanent flavour, but we will continue to keep you on your toes 😉 A big thank you to everyone who bought a box or tried a bar; your enthusiasm inspires us to keep creating, innovating and sharing new flavours with you.

Matcha has cropped up just about everywhere over the last few years, as I’m sure you know, but it can be dated back to China during the Tang Dynasty (618-907 CE). Back then, tea leaves were pressed into bricks which were easily transported and stored, before being ground into a fine powder and mixed with hot water to create a frothy drink. During the 12th century, matcha was introduced to Japan which transformed their tea culture forever, and by the 16th century, it had become an essential part of Japanese society. After the 17th century, matcha’s popularity declined as other green teas became more accessible, but today we see it back on top due to a growing global interest in wellness. From trendy coffee shops to lifestyle content on social media, so many of us are enjoying the taste and benefits that matcha has to offer.

Matcha is renowned for its exceptionally high antioxidant content, helping to protect your cells from free radical damage and supporting your body’s natural defences. It can also support your immune system, reduce stress and promote a healthy heart, all whilst enhancing brain function and energy.
